Criminal Justice program of study further advances understanding of the criminal justice system. Students acquire the practical technical skills necessary for entry into the workforce or career advancement in the field. The program further expands on the following concepts and content: forensic investigation, police and society, sociology of deviance, criminology, and criminal law and investigation. Students are introduced to the importance of the U.S.Constitution Bill of Rights and various elements of criminal offenses. Graduates of this program are awarded an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.
