The Physical Therapist Assistant program of study prepares graduates to assume an active role in the provision of physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. A combination of classroom, laboratory and actual supervised clinical experiences caring for patients is used. Graduates of the program can seek employment in hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities or other health related agencies. Graduates are awarded an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree. Prerequisite: Semester 1, 2, and 3 are prerequisite semesters. In semester 4, 5, 6 students will be entered into the program.
