Babysitting Training Program

IWCC Babysitting Training Program is to provide youth ages 11-16 who are planning to babysit. To give them the knowledge and skills necessary to give care safely and responsibly to children and infants that they are in care of.

Award Type:


IWCC Certificate of Completion or CE

Learning Outcomes:


Leadership skills, how to develop a babysitting business, safety, basic first aid, and childcare skills.

Educational Objective:


Basic childcare skills, safety, Babysitting, and First Aid.

Tuition:


$45 or free

Fees:
Babysitter’s Training Instructor’s Manual Supplement $24.95/book

Babysitter’s Training Handbook $17.95/book, tax not included

Length of Course:


1 day/about 4 hours for just babysitting

2 days/about 7 hours for babysitting and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Caring for Children and Infants from Mealtime to Bedtime

Attendance Requirements:


Needs to attend the whole class or classes

Instructor Qualification:


Instructor is registered, certified, or licensed in the occupational area in which the state requires registration, certification or licensure for the occupational area in which the instructor is teaching.
