PHI 101 - Introduction to Philosophy 3.0 Credit(s) Lecture 3 Lab 0 Introduction to Philosophy is an analytical approach to problems such as the nature of man, the existence of a creator, the question of freedom, and the challenge of change. Students deepen their understanding of these problems and their own responses by studying the thoughts of philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, St. Thomas Aquinas, Descartes, Locke, Hegel, Kant, Kierkegaard, Sartre, Nietzsche, James, Russell, and Kuhn.
