AGV 122 - Principles of Sanitation 3.0 Credit(s) Lecture 2 Lab/Clinical 3 Principles of Sanitation provides instruction on basic sanitation principles used in veterinary medicine. Topics include cause of disease, spread of infectious disease, autoclaves and other sterilization procedures used in veterinary medicine, use of disinfectants, and environmental factors which influence spread of disease. Parasitology, including parasite life cycles and public health significance, and zoonotic diseases are also covered.
